This work is a series of figurative drawings on the theme of "summer". The drawings show typical summer activities, often of a cheerful nature like picking flowers in a meadow, sometimes more ironic, like being surprised by a thunderstorm while bathing.

These are experienced by a character that we all know as a plaguer in the summertime. Instead of people, it is mosquitoes that are the protagonists of this series. They appear in interaction with flat black and white drawings of characteristic summer objects.
